HUNTER SAFETY There will be a Hunter Safety Field Day on Saturday, September 26 at the Normenco Sportsman's Club. Online Course Completion and Pre-registration is required. You must complete the Hunter's education online prior to the field day, register at: https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/things-to-do/hunting/education , online course fee is payable on the hunter ed website, registration is limited to the first 32 registrations, you are responsible for learning the material at home, only a review of game laws, the exam & shooting portion will take place at the Sportsman's club, bring your own lunch & drink, anyone under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
FRIDAY SCHEDULE On Friday you will go 2nd hour, 5th hour, 6th hour, then all will have lunch @ 11:55 to 12:25; then all students will report to the football field after taking attendance in the 6th hour class.
HOMECOMING DANCE Is Saturday in the high school gymnasium. The dance will start at 7:00 and end at 10:00, the cost of the dance is a nonperishable food item(s). Items will be given to the local food pantry.
JV/V VOLLEYBALL GAME Tonight @ Home vs North Dickinson, game starts @ 5:15. Parents Night will take place between JV and Varsity game.
VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME On Friday @ Home vs Munising, game starts @ 6:00. Homecoming activities will start @ 5:30, court members please be here at 5:15.
HYC MEETING Next Tuesday in the Library during lunch. All high school students who are interested are welcome to join.
HIGHWAY CLEAN-UP Wednesday, September 23rd, NHS will leave right after morning attendance, last year took around two hours.
HALLWAY WINNERS 1st place - Seniors with Spiderman, 2nd Place 7th Grade with Black Panther, 3rd Place 8th Grade with Thor, 4th Place 6th Grade with Dr. Strange, 5th Place 11th Juniors with Captain America
FIELD TRIP 8th & 9th grade students will be taking a field trip on Friday, September 25th. You will be going to a St. John job site to learn about the logging industry. The students will load the bus right attendance & lunch count and will be returning before lunch.
SOPHOMORES You will be going to Bay Day next Thursday, students will board the bus at 8:05 and return at 12:00. Bay is also providing lunch.
