JH BOYS BASKETBALL If you plan on playing basketball this year please sign up in the office in the next 2 weeks during your free time.
HOMECOMING HALLWAYS Decorating will take place THIS week before homecoming week and students must speak with their advisors about when they are planning to decorate--an advisor needs to be at the school with them while decorating. The Theme for the dance is Spiderman, Hallways will be Seniors: Spiderman in the front entry, Juniors: Captain America HS Boys Bathroom to HS Girls Bathroom, Sophomores: Iron Man HS girls bathroom to stairway, Freshmen: Hulk stairway to Mrs. Harry's office, 8th Grade: Thor corner past the office to next corner by Mr. Mercier's room, 7th Grade: Black Panther vending machine area to the corner past the office, 6th Grade: Dr. Strange Mrs. Harry's office to the cafeteria doors.
BIG BROTHERS & BIG SISTERS Someone from the program will be here on Tuesday, September 15th @ 2:15 to talk to high school students about how the program works and what they do.
COLLEGE FAIR Juniors and Seniors will be going to the Menominee County College Fair in Stephenson on Monday, September 14th. Students will board the bus at 9:30 and return to school at 11:30.
HOMECOMING DRESS UP DAYS Monday - Farmer vs Yooper; Tuesday - Dress your grade - 6th, 7th & 8th grade(infants 0-2), Freshman (Toddlers 2-5), Sophomores (preteens 10-13), Juniors (Adults 30+), Seniors (Senior Citizens 60+); Wednesday - Color Day, 6th grade (orange), 7th (yellow), 8th (green), 9th (blue), 10th (red), 11th (white), 12th (black); Thursday - Rhyme without Reason; Friday - Spirit Day

SOFTBALL SIGN UP There is a sign up in the office for high school girls softball. If you are interested in playing in the spring please sign up now. They are trying to see how much interest there is.
HUNTER SAFETY There will be a Hunter Safety Field Day on Saturday, September 26 at the Normenco Sportsman's Club. Online Course Completion and Pre-registration is required. You must complete the Hunter's education online prior to the field day, register at: https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/things-to-do/hunting/education , online course fee is payable on the hunter ed website, registration is limited to the first 32 registrations, you are responsible for learning the material at home, only a review of game laws, the exam & shooting portion will take place at the Sportsman's club, bring your own lunch & drink, anyone under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
HOMECOMING WEEK The week of September 14th - 18th will be Homecoming.
